Palestinians in Gaza struggle to get cash as hunger deepens

Amid the continuing Israeli military campaign, Palestinians in Gaza are facing a severe financial crisis.r
In Rafah, only three ATMs are serving 1.5 million Palestinians. People have to stay in line for long hours, some sleep overnight on the street not to return empty-handed to their families.r
Money exchange shops take a commission fee that can reach up to 19 percent for $100.r
This is having an impact on people who are already no longer able to afford food and other basic necessities due to skyrocketing prices.r
