Donald Trump enraged as Michael Cohen testifies in criminal trial

Donald Trump is accused of falsifying business records to conceal the alleged “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election, to stop her talking of an affair she says she had with him. He denies the charges.

Prosecutors have documents showing that Michael Cohen, a lawyer for Trump at the time, made a $130,000 payment to Daniels and was then reimbursed by the Trump Organisation, which marked it down as a legal expense. They have records of phone calls Cohen made to Trump at the time. But they need Cohen to tell the jury what was said.

Cohen, 57, has not been waiting quietly in the wings. He has a podcast, Mea Culpa, and appears regularly on another, called Political Beatdown. You can also find him hosting a nightly livestream on TikTok.
