WATCH: Moment plane is swallowed up in Dubai floods

Chaos has erupted at Dubai International Airport after the city was lashed with wild weather.

More than 120 millimetres of rain fell on Tuesday and more rain is expected to fall on Wednesday.

Vision emerged of planes trying to navigate the flooded tarmac, which looks like a marina.

Departure flights will continue but inbound aircraft will be diverted until weather conditions improve.

Dubai International Airport is the world's busiest airport for international travel.
