Floodwaters have engulfed typically dry Dubai after a year’s worth of rain fell in a single day. Roads across the United Arab Emirates were flooded and some key roads were shut down. Authorities urged residents to stay indoors. Dubai International Airport warned passengers of severe delays and dozens of cancelled flights.
