A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after two teenagers were stabbed, one fatally, in Sydney's west yesterday.
The teenagers were stabbed near a school on Power Street in Doonside on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the stabbings about 3:40pm but before they arrived at the scene, the teenagers, aged 18 and 19, presented themselves to Blacktown Police Station with stab wounds.
The 18-year-old died at the scene, and the 19-year-old was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested near the Doonside location and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.
He was charged with murder and refused bail to appear at a children's court today.
