Democratic US President Joe Biden struggled with a shaky performance during the first presidential debate while his Republican rival Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of attacks.

“That would be a bloodbath inside the Democratic Party,” Mr Jackman told Sky News Australia.

“If you’re Donald Trump – the idea that this is the conversation – fantastic.”
