Georgian police tried to disperse a rally in front of the Parliament ahead of the Parliament Juridical Committee meeting to discuss the law on foreign influence.
Protesters have gathered outside Georgia's parliament since Sunday night to prevent lawmakers from entering the building and attending a committee hearing to discuss a proposed law that critics see as a threat to media freedom and the country’s aspirations to join the European Union.
The Parliament is set to discuss the bill in its final reading starting from Monday.
